Yurts Squrts and Cloudhouses are coming to Belladrum for the first time!! Book early to avoid disappointment. We are the largest provider of yurt accommodation in the uk and Scotland bringing you the best quality mini handmade yurts around. The Yurts & Squirts village will be more appropriate for younger groups as it will be more akin to the General Camping area at Bella while Groovy Greg’s Tipi area has adopted Family & Quiet status.
In our new Boutique camping area you will feel secure, have lots of space to chill out in and have lovely clean loo’s and our friendly staff to help ensure you have a great stay.
Forget the nightmare of finding camping space, lugging tents around and waking up in the night with your face pressing onto soggy nylon. Forget having to take down your tent in the pouring rain after 3 hours sleep with a massive hangover. Our yurts squrts and Cloudhouses are guaranteed to keep you cosy and dry. Your yurt squrt or cloudhouse will be waiting for your to arrive ready for when you leave the festival you simply check out with us and off you go.
Yurts are our 4/5 person structures originating from central Asia where they have been used for thousands of years, now they are used for authentic, super cosy festival accommodation across the uk and Scotland. Our lovely 12foot diameter yurts are ideal family units or for small groups of friends, sleeping 4/5 and giving you lots of head room (around 7 feet in the centre) and plenty of floor space. Why not treat yourself and opt for a furnished one.
Squrts are fun and quirky miniature 2 person yurts, designed and hand-made by Justine and Simon in their workshop in rural Northumberland. Our squrts are 9 feet in diameter and come in two designs, our white and blue squrts have steam bent roof poles and just under 6 feet head clearance in the centre our straight roof poled green and white squrts have just over 6 feet head clearance in the centre. Some squrts have wooden doors, others have canvas doorflaps.
Cloudhouses our 2/3 person structures are a little more spacious than a squrt and are much better for anyone who likes a higher and wider doorway. They also have mini porches to keep you dry when getting in and out of your cloudhouse.
All structures come with fully fitted watertight groundsheets as standard!!
All furnished yurts and squrts and Cloudhouses come with the fitted groundsheet which we cover with cosy rugs, fluffy sheepskins, a scattering of cushions a small handmade table and tea light lantern (with a good supply of tea lights).
OUR LUXURY CAMPING FIELD WILL HAVE SECURITY AT THE GATE, TO KEEP YOU AND YOUR STUFF SAFE. YOU WILL HAVE EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO OUR LUXURY TOILETS.
If you are booking accommodation with Yurts & Squirts and coming by car you should ask for a RED/WHITE PARKING PASS from the ticket agent from whom you buy your ticket.
